Jimmy has been working in real estate with Alice for over 20 years. Jimmy is also a native of the area, and has a vast knowledge of the community.  Jimmy served as Mayor of Wake Forest from 1987-1992, was a past president of the Wake Forest Chamber of Commerce.  Jimmy served in the US Army Special Forces from 1968-1971. He enjoys golf in his spare time and supporting the B.W. Wells association.  The BW Wells association serves to educate the public about B. W. Wells, North Carolina’s first plant ecologist, and promote his conservation ethics and preserving Rock Cliff Farm, the site of Wells' retirement where Jimmy grew up. The area is now one of Falls Lake State Recreation areas located in Wake Forest.
