Wake Forest, NC Area Towns, Cities and Communities
Wake County is made up of the twelve municipalities of Apex, Cary, Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Holly Springs, Knightdale, Morrisville, Raleigh, Rolesville, Wake Forest, Wendell, and Zebulon. Surrounding Wake County are several other counties as well that complete the Raleigh area. Other larger cities include Durham in Durham County and Chapel Hill in Orange County. Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and the surrounding areas are commonly referred to as "The Triangle". Wake Forest is located North of Raleigh and is the northern most city in Wake County with the small town of Rolesville just to the east of Wake Forest. Many looking for more private home settings with larger lot sizes continue to venture north of Wake County into Franklin and Granville counties where you will still find Wake Forest addresses as well as the cities of Youngsville and Franklinton to find homes with larger lots, but still within commuting distances to Raleigh and Durham.
